Become a Member
So what does membership of Classic Flight Club International mean? Primarily it means that you've done something significant to protect an irreplaceable portion of our history and to hold it in trust for future generations. But there's a great deal more to it than that. These aircraft are here to be experienced and enjoyed, and your membership gives you the chance to do exactly that.
Basic membership costs £65 per year, but we hope you'll donate more.
Membership Benefits
- Four copies of "Meteor", the exclusive Club magazine, packed with articles, photographs, news and information about historic aviation. We're working on issue one right now, and we can promise you it'll be worth reading - and re-reading!
- Four half-price pleasure flights in our fabulous old passenger birds. We'll be running flights all over the country in 2010, so there's almost certain to be a local opportunity to sample vintage aviation. You can invite family and friends to share, or be selfish and enjoy the experience four times over for yourself!
- Four tickets for free admission to our Visitor Centre, to be opened in Spring 2010. You'll be able to get up close to the aircraft in our care, see them being maintained and operated, and chat with the pilots and ground staff.
- Free admission to our exclusive Members-Only Airshow. You'll have VIP access to a very special event - a great day out and a chance to meet other Club members.
- Member's discount on all purchases from the Club shop or Website.
Of course, we're always grateful for any additional donations you feel you can make. Once your additional donation is recognised, you will be invited to choose an aircraft type. Then we promise you that every penny of that additional amount will go directly towards a fund dedicated to that aircraft. You'll then be considered a member of that aircraft "group" and you'll be kept informed of its activities and invited to special events.
Gold Membership
Those members who donate a total of more than £500 will automatically be elevated to Gold level. In addition to the benefits listed above, Gold members will enjoy:
- Unlimited half-price pleasure flights all year
- Free admission to the members-only airshow for the member plus four additional family members.
- An unrivalled opportunity to join the Jet Display Team at selected events and potentially travel on board one of the jets on a positioning flight.
